Mechanical Technician

We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter/Mechanical Fire Technician/ qualified/licenced Plumber in Sydney who is interested in working in the Fire Protection industry.

About the Role

• Installing, servicing, maintaining mechanical and gaseous systems within the Sydney area
• Join our dynamic team and work on cutting edge projects and varied range of industries and clients

About You

• Experience working as a Sprinkler Fitter, ideally in the Fire industry
• FPAS Qualifications
• Sprinkler Fitter licence
• Ability to carry out servicing on pumpsets, up to 5 annuals & 5 yearlys (preferred)
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) or working rights
• Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence
• Extinguishing Agent Handling License
• Handheld  skills with the ability to operate service app; completing work orders electronically
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
• A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards
• Self motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment
• Ability to build customer relationships
