Opportunity to join an established Australian Steel Manufacturer as Mechanical Team Leader. You will be responsible for managing the mechanical team at our new Mesh facility in Newcastle. Key responsibilities include:
Supervising the mechanical team and providing leadership and structure
Implement , lead and use Lean Tools, visual standards within your worksite
Implement strategy to ensure a proactive environment and behaviour
Identify areas of process improvement and drive these improvements throughout the team
Review and improve the maintenance strategy based on plant performance and breakdowns
Be able to analyze mechanical data, run reports
Highly capable in root cause analysis and implementing actions
