We are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator with a mechanical or electrical background to join our client’s team on a temporary/casual basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong heavy mobile equipment experience who is looking for their next site-based role.
THE ROLE You’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating dump trucks while supporting the broader site team with your mechanical or electrical knowledge and experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate dump trucks and associated heavy mobile equipment
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams
• Follow site procedures and safety requirements at all times
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care
• Assist with general site duties as required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
• Previous experience operating dump trucks
• Mechanical or electrical trade background/experience
• Strong understanding of heavy mobile equipment
• Excellent safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and strong work ethic
• Relevant tickets, licences and mining/site experience will be highly regarded
• Ability to pass relevant site medical and drug & alcohol screening
