Join our dynamic team on the Rio Tinto Western Range Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

The Project

Civmec has been awarded a major construction contract for the Rio Tinto Western Range Project at their Paraburdoo site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. This iron ore project includes both Greenfields and Brownfields scope, featuring the construction of a new run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit, and modifications to the coarse ore stockpile (COS) and downstream conveying system.

The Role

• FIFO from all capital cities in Australia – making it easier for you to join us from wherever you are!


• Flexible Rosters: Enjoy a 3:1 roster for day shift or a 2:1 roster for night shift.


• Career Growth: Be a part of Civmec’s largest Civil/SMP Construction Project with opportunities for full-time progression within our construction team.

About You

• Over 2 years of industrial experience as a Mechanical/Pipe Fitter.


• Australian-recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Pipe Fitting.


• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card.


• Willingness to complete RIO Inductions and Face-to-Face Aveling training.
