Role Overview: This hybrid role places you in both the workshop and the field, where your primary responsibility is performing service repairs to maintain plant reliability and meet Downer’s safety standards. You’ll work hands-on with heavy plant machinery, trucks, and equipment, prioritizing safety and operational efficiency.

Trade Qualification: Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Plant Mechanic

Licenses: HR and Forklift (desirable).
Skills:
- Auto electrical experience (advantageous).
- Strong hydraulic knowledge.
- Proficient with mobile plant and equipment.
- Expertise in fault-finding and breakdown support.
- Ability to work independently with a commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm culture.
