About the role

You’ll join our Mechanical team delivering refurbishment of Inlet Air Chiller (IAC) systems at APLNG. Tasks include mechanical fitting, fabrication, and component repair/replacement supporting restoration of compressor performance and resolving corrosion, fouling, and obsolescence issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit pumps, valves, pipework, rotating equipment, and structural components 
• Fabricate supports, platforms, brackets, and steelwork as required 
• Interpret drawings and follow instructions from supervisors and client reps 
• Maintain a safe, clean, well‑organised work area

About you

• Based in Gladstone
• Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter
• Competent in mechanical fitting tasks 
• Able to read complex drawings
• Current driver’s licence; forklift licence desirable
• Safety‑focused, reliable, and team‑orientated
