Title: Mechanical Fitter Reporting Manager:

POSITION PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to support NEPEAN Transport with assembly of new and refurbished roller brake testers, calibrations, and testing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Technical

▪ Assembly of sub-assemblies, and the integration of roller brake testers, including the completion of paperwork issued with each job.

▪ Welding and minor fabrication of hydraulic pipes on axles, minor painting, and ancillary duties. ▪ Where tolerance assembly procedures are specified, the tradesperson will document proof of such

in the QC Check List, as required for every sub-assembly, and integration of the roller brake tester. ▪ Calibrations and testing must be carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards & in

line with internal Quality Systems. ▪ Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and

workshop in general to 5S Standard. ▪ To produce and complete the allocated job within the estimated and designated hours, as

repeatedly proven by your peers. General

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ▪ Current trades certificate or other equivalent qualifications. ▪ Forklift license. ▪ Minimum 5 + years’ fitting experience.
