WHAT WE OFFER

• Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Callide Power Station in Biloela, QLD 
• Project Dates: Start date from late-September, running approximately until November.
• Roster:  Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
• Competitive Rate: EBA rates $66.84 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance.
• Other Benefits:  LAFHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Mechanical Fitters to provide outage services at Callide Power Station in Biloela, QLD. Starting in late-September 2025, Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.

ABOUT YOU

• Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
• Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
• Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Qualifications:  Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card
