DescriptionUtilita Water Solutions is a joint venture between Ventia and Downer Utilities that delivers electrical, mechanical and civil maintenance services and projects across a diverse range of water and wastewater assets. Our delivery area covers Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounding western regions.
The team & opportunity:
Our Mechanical scope of work is large and varied and includes mechanical maintenance activities on the drinking water and sewerage networks. We have multiple opportunities in our team for Mechanical Fitters, working across Brisbane metro and Northern regions.

You will take on challenges with a can-do attitude and a positive approach, this will drive success in the role, enabling you to perform at your highest capacity.
- Trade Qualifications as an Engineering Tradesperson – Mechanical (Cert III in Engineering Trade (Mechanical Fitter) MEM30205) or equivalent trade.
- MR-Class Drivers Licence.
- General Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
- Experience in an industrial environment, within water/wastewater will be highly regarded.
- Ability to participate in an on-call roster and shift work when required.
- Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
- Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (desirable).
