As we continue to grow, we're excited to invite talented individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters, with opportunities for leadership roles including leading hands or supervisors for the right candidates.

The Role

As a Mechanical Fitter at NEPEAN Conveyors, you will:

• Supervise a team of Mechanical Fitters, apprentices, and other tradespeople.
• Oversee the quality and timeliness of work.
• Provide technical advice and support.
• Assist with hands-on work as needed.
• Mentor and guide your team to ensure high standards in a dynamic workshop environment.

Key Requirements

• Trade qualification in Fitting.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Conveyor or maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in reading technical drawings and spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage and supervise a team of 20+ employees.
• High-spirited and energetic approach.

Beneficial Skills

• Lifting and Dogging or Conduct Lifting Operations.
• Experience in conveyor maintenance.
