UGL’s Engineering business is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects. As a result, we have an Expression of Interest open for Mechanical Engineers.
About the role
The role of the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design inputs to the mechanical design deliverables/packages on the project.
About You
· Degree qualification to Bachelor status in Mechanical Engineering (IE Aust recognised).
· At least 3 years' experience in hands on mechanical design.
· At least 3 years' experience in a design, procure & construct in a project environment.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
Experience working on a large rail or Infrastructure project
