Mechanical Engineer - Structural (468462)

Your future role:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Site Train Design Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be performing the calculation discipline activities and producing associated deliverables in compliance with quality, delivery and cost commitments and applying Mechanical Domain instructions and processes.

 

We'll look to you for:

• Performing Detailed Design calculation 


• Preparing and documenting Mechanical Domain Design Reviews and Calculation


• Suggesting design improvements of calculated parts


• Applying calculation and mechanical design rules, processes and tools and ensuring discipline calculation deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer within committed limits


• Evaluating CAD's and sub - contractors design quality

All about you:

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering


• Good Communications and interpersonal skills


• Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products is preferred


• Experience in customer interaction is desirable


• Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment
