Join a respected and growing Brisbane-based industrial manufacturer designing, building, and commissioning custom energy systems and plant equipment for clients across industry and infrastructure nationally.
A capable in-house workshop team allows you to see your work move from screen to steel in a business built for and run by engineers. These projects are custom, technical and varied.

Day to day, develop preliminary designs, produce manufacturing and assembly drawings, compile BOMs, and generate job packs for the workshop and site installation teams. Work directly with fabricators and vendors, track your projects against schedule, and provide engineering support through to site handover. Custom solutions for a variety of clients, applications, and industries. Carry real autonomy in how you manage and deliver your work.

Required Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 6 years in mechanical design engineering within industrial equipment manufacturing or energy infrastructure
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modelling, design development, and manufacturing drawing production
• Demonstrated ability to produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs to manufacturing standard
• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing practices including sheet metal, structural weldment, and mechanical assembly
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for industrial mechanical equipment including AS4100, AS1657, AS1210, AS4024 and AS/NZS 1554
• Experience generating job packs for workshop fabrication and supporting site installation activities
• Ability to manage concurrent design tasks and meet project schedules with minimal supervision
• Full Australian working rights (Citizens and Permanent Residents only)

• $105,000 – $135,000 + Super, commensurate with experience
• Permanent, full-time and Brisbane-based, with occasional site travel as projects move through to delivery
