Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you'll contribute to designing and implementing innovative mechanical solutions across various projects. In this role, you will work alongside industry experts, developing detailed design models and simulations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. You will also have the opportunity to support broader engineering initiatives and grow your leadership skills. Your technical acumen and collaborative mindset will be key in driving success and delivering exceptional results across diverse projects.  This role is a permanent full-time position paying $80,000 to $90,000 + 11.5% Superannuation.

The Opportunity

  • Collaborate with the team to develop detailed design models and simulations for mechanical and HVAC systems, utilizing advanced modeling techniques and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the design of mechanical systems for various environments, ensuring performance and efficiency in cooling, ventilation, and fire suppression systems.
  • Develop mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to meet diverse project needs.
  • Support project activities to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Take responsibility for designated segments of design projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and precision in execution, while representing the team in key internal and client-facing meetings.

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar area.
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering within a consulting business environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Mechanical Engineering solutions across a range of projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
