We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join Powertech on a Copper-Gold mining Project.
Position Overview:
- Roster: 2:1
- Start Date: ASAP 2026
- Hours: 12 hours per day
- Rate: Excellent rates $$$
- Superannuation paid on ALL hours worked
- Duration: 8+ months work
- Location: South Australia
- POH: Flights will be covered from any major capital in Australia
Scope of Work:
- Aboveground and Underground works
- 7.5MW ABB VSD driving Winder
- Hydraulic surface packages – Skyshaft rope and skip equipment
- Apron Feeder
- Surface conveyors x 3 (includes tripper on overland conveyor)
- Paste Plant – supply paste for filling UG stopes
- Process control, cameras, fire systems
- Water Services – Fire, Raw, Potable
- HV Reticulation
- Crusher (1300tph)
- Hydraulic Conveyors x 2
- High Pressure water reduction and distribution (fire/raw)
- Process control, cameras, fire systems
- Hydraulic truck loading stations x 2
- Ore pass – material delivery services
About You:
- Qualified Fitter/Mechanical tradesperson
- Trade Certificate
- CPR / LVR certificates
- First Aid
- Confined space OR Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
- White card
