The Opportunity 


Based in Glendenning, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic for full time, permanent work.


Job Responsibilities



  • Carry out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services

  • Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment

  • Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults

  • Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly

  • Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly

  • Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment


About You 



  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

  • Heavy Rigid licence (desired)

  • A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team

  • Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
