Description

This role is a great opportunity for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to help build the Well Intervention Services new maintenance team.


About the role:



  • Record and report all work performed into Asset management system. Reviewing system to schedule and do repairs

  • Work to conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles/equipment

  • Light vehicle, light truck and heavy vehicle servicing of vehicles in the NHVAS Scheme

  • Familiar with NHVAS requirements and responsibilities

  • Hydraulics work on wireline unit, crane and forklift systems. General mechanical repair works on Seals & bearings, drive line, suspension, brakes, pneumatics, electrics, Basic intermediate welding & grinding

  • Very little to no heavy overhaul – no clutch, gearbox, diff, engine overhauls or swaps expected

  • Mobilise in-field to correct vehicle/equipment deficiencies for MPK crews when requested - even supporting Wireline operations

  • Work with the Inventory manager to optimize store inventory and useage

  • Service vehicle must be kept clean and inventory maintained

  • Conduct face-to-face handovers with appropriate notes with opposite shift when possible

  • Ensure proper house-keeping at all times

  • HSE awareness  

  • Other maintenance tasks as directed




Skills And Experiences

About You:



  • Relevant Trade Certificate

  • Minimum 1 - 2  years experience in the industry

  • 4WD Operate Vehicles in the field (PMASUP236)

  • Drilling & Completions General Induction/Industry Safety Induction

  • CPR (HLTAID001)

  • First Aid (HLTAID002 + HLTAID003)

  • Forklift licence

  • HR / HC licence and Manual car license             

  • Strong mechanical aptitude – including hydraulics and auto electrical.

  • Good communication skills

  • Computer skills would be advantageous
