Our HQ is based in Rotterdam, Netherlands with our Australian region, boasting a fleet of over 30 vessels across multiple ports along the East Coast, where we pride ourselves on our safety culture, work ethic and commitment to the environment.  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marine electrician with supervisory experience to support our dynamic Gladstone operations.

Job Description

You are a dedicated, technically skilled professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is capable of managing complex electrical systems. Reporting to the General Manager in Gladstone, this full time position is responsible for the running maintenance and repairs of the electrical, electronic and and control systems. Working closely with the shore based Maintenance team, Technical Superintendent and crew to ensure the planned maintenance system is maintained in a safe, efficient and cost effective way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Marine electrical qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a marine electrician, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Advanced knowledge of marine electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems
• Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of shipboard systems
• Strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
