This position is based at Jimblebar, operating on a 4:3/5:2/4:3/9:5 FIFO roster. Jimblebar is an autonomous truck mine operated by BHP, producing up to 70 million tonnes per annum of high-grade lump and fines product. Located 40 km northeast of Newman, Western Australia, the modern FIFO village offers outstanding facilities including a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, golf driving nets, outdoor cinema, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball courts, beach volleyball court, games room, and TV lounge. All rooms have access to 4G wireless internet, ensuite bathrooms, televisions, refrigerators, and air-conditioning. Jimblebar has recently started flights to and from Busselton. We are looking for a driven Manager – Fixed Plant Maintenance to join the WAIO team at Jimblebar. Reporting to the Jimblebar GM you will:
Your proven experience in leading and mentoring large, multidisciplinary teams in complex operational settings will be key to your success. Exceptional maintenance expertise, complemented by a diverse operational mining background, will be advantageous. Strong communication and influencing skills will help you quickly establish effective and collaborative relationships.
