Regional Group are currently seeking an experienced Maintenace Supervisor/Fitter to join our team at Gladstone Queensland.
Directly reporting to the Quarry Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor / Fitter will be responsible for the ongoing repairs and maintenance on the plant and assets within the quarry.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordination of Repairs & Maintenance site team
- Prioritising and Scheduling R&M
- Identifying and recording R&M scope, completion and history
- Controlling R&M costs within a given budget
- Ensuring R&M team are meeting safety, quality and output obligations
- Working on tools or operating machinery when other duties are managed
- Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintaining professional and clear communication with all staff
- Liaising with Regional Group supervisors and quarry managers regularly
Knowledge and experience required:
- S1,2,3 G2 Desirable. Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter, Auto Electrician or Boilermaker
- Current drivers licence
- White card
- 2 years + experience in a repair or maintenance role
- Excellent communication skills
- High drive and work ethic
- Well organised
- Good leadership qualities
- Competent in Microsoft Office Excel
- Full working rights in Australia
