Your role at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital
We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Maintenance/Handyperson to work up to 60 hours per fortnight. This role includes weekday work, with weekend availability required as needed.
As part of the maintenance team, you will provide reliable and responsive maintenance services, delivered to the highest standard for all customers, in line with statutory and legislative requirements.
The Position
Perform gardening functions as directed.
Perform work to a standard that is in accordance with requirements as per
preventative maintenance schedule.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance works including maintenance
work logged via Mex Ops.
Perform maintenance cleaning task as per maintenance cleaning program
including - vacuuming, general cleaning duties and other cleaning tasks as
directed.
Participate in the on call roster on a rotating basis - this includes after
hours and weekends.
Perform courier duties as directed.
Store deliveries as required by hospital departments.
Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Engineer.
You will possess extensive (3 + years) experience in maintenance work and demonstrate highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and demonstrate a high standard of communication skills.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in practice, along with an innovative and resourceful approach to problem-solving. You will also hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Salary: $63,078 to $64,808 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
