About the Role

We are now seeking a daytime Maintenance Fitter who is ready to make a positive impact to our Lidcombe site (NSW 2141). The position is full-time, permanent and with great opportunities for career progression.

 Responsibilities include:

  • This position is responsible for performing mechanical work to ensure all plant remains in good working order.
  • Ensuring mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment. 
  • All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements.
  • Partake in Preventative Maintenance program in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.
  • Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence.
  • Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency.
  • Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standards
  • Shift work available 

About you:

  • Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and awareness
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Trade qualifications are preferred
  • Welding Skills (TIG, MIG, Stick, Oxy).
  • Industrial experience including fault finding and root cause analysis .
  • Breakdown maintenance and diagnostic experience is desirable.
