Maintenance Fitter  

Hemmant Location - $50 per hour
Monday to Friday - 6:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Hemmant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and breakdown maintenance across plant and equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Assisting with planned shutdowns and maintenance schedules
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting project work and equipment upgrades
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

About You

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (essential)
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Reliable, safety-focused and proactive approach
