The Opportunity

The Role
As part of our high-performing maintenance team, and reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment in a modern, highly automated facility. While PLC experience is not required, we welcome candidates with an interest in developing these skills. You’ll have the chance to work alongside a skilled team to learn the ins and outs of automated systems.
This role is based on a rotating roster with applicable shift allowances and penalties. (Competitive hourly rate with an opportunity to develop your skill and knowledge over time)
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize maintenance activities, respond promptly to breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance to keep our equipment running smoothly.
- Replace key electrical components, such as relays, motors, variable speed drives (VSDs), and position sensors.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts and contribute to efficiency gains within our highly automated environment.
What You’ll Bring
- A current Electrical License with experience in industrial electrical applications—experience in a manufacturing setting is ideal.
- Willingness to learn about PLCs and automation systems; we’re looking for someone motivated to grow and develop in this area.
- Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a “can-do” approach to maintenance tasks.
- Self-motivation and a dedicated work ethic to keep things running efficiently and safely.
