Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Service and Maintenance Electrician with HVAC experience, on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor servicing commercial clients across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety in their day, working across multiple sites, and delivering quality service to a broad range of commercial clients.

About the Role
Working across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, you'll attend approximately 5-6 jobs per day, carrying out service, maintenance, fault-finding and minor installation works. Projects range from factories and warehouses through to high-rise office buildings and commercial facilities.

This role suits someone who can work autonomously, manage their schedule effectively, and provide a high level of customer service while representing the business on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault-finding of electrical systems
• Split-system air conditioning installations and maintenance
• Switchboard and controls work
• Attend reactive maintenance and breakdown call-outs
• Complete scheduled service works across multiple commercial sites
• Liaise with clients and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Service Technician role
• Current AC Cert II Licence
• Experience working within commercial environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of switchboards and electrical controls
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule
• Strong communication and customer service skills
