We’re looking for a Maintenance Electrician to take technical ownership on the floor during our afternoon shift, keep our production lines humming, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

The Role

No two days are the same here. As the key technical lead on the floor during the afternoon shift, you’ll balance rapid breakdown responses during active production runs with high-quality preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Maintenance: Diagnose and repair high-speed FMCG machinery, including fillers, mixers, conveyors, and robotic packaging systems.
• Troubleshooting: Perform PLC fault finding and optimize line operating parameters and evening shift handovers.
• Continuous Improvement: Carry out planned maintenance programs and assist with wiring/installing new plant equipment.
• Asset Management: Track work orders, maintenance logs, and parts usage via MEX.

About You

You’re a proactive problem-solver who takes genuine pride in getting "first-time" fixes done right. Whether you’re a seasoned FMCG maintenance tech or a commercial electrician looking to break into the manufacturing space, you’re safety-focused and ready to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Need:

• Current QLD Electrical License (Essential)
• Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) certificates (Essential)
• Proven maintenance experience in FMCG OR a strong commercial electrical background ready to transition
• Availability to consistently work either shifts
• Hands-on experience with MEX (Highly regarded)
• Working at Heights or EWP tickets (Advantageous)
• Work Rights: Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen.
