About the Role 

 

This role will provide Heavy Vehicle mechanical maintenance support for the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Department. The role requires a focus on availability, reliability and quality maintenance. The Maintenance Coordinator is required to coordinate the work management activities for maintenance to support the scheduling and delivery of planned work and breakdowns for the Electrical and Communications team.
 
Duties may include:
 

  • Reviewing scopes of work from information provided or schedule time for further field validation
  • Work order creation and approval for breakdowns and parts
  • Process notifications, update and close out work orders
  • Update capacities for team and monitor labour requirements in consultation with the Supervisor
  • Liaise with Supervisors for labour and equipment access
  • Daily parts availability tracking and compliance
  • Assisting the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor in identifying and implementing initiatives that contribute value from an improvement perspective
  • Engaging / liaising with key stakeholders to focus on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Returning unused materials / items
  • Working closely with CPH and supply teams to ensure supply materials is on time and efficient


 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have:
 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management in SAP
  • Well-developed understanding of maintaining mining equipment and materials handling
  • Knowledge and experience in purchasing in SAP
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and ensuring all work practices are reflective of our Charter Values
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence

 
 

Location
 
You will be based at our ‘South Flank’ mine site on a fly-in fly-out 8:6 roster from Perth.  Our South Flank mine is located approximately 100kms North West of Newman, West Australia. 

The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, beach volleyball court and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
