Job Description:
The LV Fitter’s core focus is to provide quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of light vehicle equipment as required to ensure operational targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

This role will be offered on a FIFO or DIDO 2/2 Roster based at our Darlot Gold Mine Operation.

Point of hire: PERTH, WA

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that the light vehicle fleet and associated infrastructure are adequately maintained for optimal performance for maximum availability.
• Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with relevant legislation and Vault Minerals policies.
• Complete work orders and record maintenance history to provide relevant reports to management.
• Run and analyse diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Key factors to your success include:

• Trade qualifications - Light Vehicle Mechanic (Australian recognised)
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance technologies and equipment
• Ability to work in both workshop and underground environments.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred
• HRWL - Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift Tickets (Desirable)
