Logistics Base Labourer

The Role:

As a Logistics Base Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily logistics operations, ensuring the timely delivery of catering to our airline clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek career progression, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Checking orders for accuracy before delivery to clients.


• Prepare and assist with loading airline carts for airside delivery onto trucks.


• Assist in the de-catering process, returning used carts for washing.


• Work in a timely and organized manner to meet operational requirements.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Previous exposure to the Aviation and/or Logistics industry is beneficial.


• Keen attention to detail with the ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately and effectively.


• Labouring experience is ideal


• Ability to stand for long periods and adhere to safety requirements.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Basic computer literacy

In this role, you will be required to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) after training and sponsorship, this includes a full federal background check. The recruitment process also includes a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM). This role is labour-intensive, requiring you to be on your feet for most of the day and lift/move heavy items (5 - 20kg).
