Part of the group, Robert Plumb Fix, is a premium building company specialising in delivering comprehensive high-end renovations and additions in the residential sector. We manage the entire building process in close collaboration with leading architects and interior designers. Our team of experienced Carpenters play a vital role in the successful delivery and completion of each project, with a solid understanding of building principles, architectural details, and site set-out.

With new projects in the pipeline for 2025, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team to deliver small works projects from start to finish.

About the role _

As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will oversee and actively participate in small-scale construction and carpentry projects, ensuring quality standards are met and deadlines are achieved. Responsibilities include:

    • Lead and manage small works projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
    • Perform high-quality carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and custom woodworking.
    • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
    • Good understanding of project timing and the impact of other trades.
    • Interpreting and executing site plans, construction drawings and scope of works.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project management team.
    • Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

    About you _

    • High end residential carpentry experience post qualification.
    • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
    • Meticulous eye for detail and high quality workmanship.
    • Team player.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Australian working rights.

    Qualifications/Certificates _

    • Cert III Carpentry
    • Drivers licence (own vehicle)
    • White card
    • Tools
