The Role (Lead HD Mechanic)

As a floor lead you will be an integral part of the team directly on the floor with the ability to lead, give direction & hook in!

• Focused specialised work on machine chassis rebuilds on CAT Haul & Ancil Gear: Dozers, Loaders, Graders & a variety of leading OEM's
• Responsible for leading major workshop scopes
• Liaise with vendors to ensure consistency of site spec installs
• Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members to increase overall product knowledge & skill set
• Efficient in parts ordering & returning components
• Maintenance of parts lay down & Update of parts in/out
• Ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime

Our workshop (3500sqm facility) handles a large variety of work from OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi & More) to various machines (dump trucks, loaders, dozers & more).

We offer a 10-hour day Monday to Friday and the option to do additional hours. No Night shifts!

What You'll Need?

• Australian Recognised Heavy Trade Qualification.
• Valid Australian Driver's licence (Minimum C Class).
• 5+ years' experience working with OEM Equipment – Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu, CAT.
• High-Risk Work Licence.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
