The Opportunity

We are seeking applicants for the position of Sample Preparation Assistant, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers. You will be based at Kalgoorlie, WA and will be responsible for preparing mining samples for testing using specialised equipment. You will be fully trained in the Sample Preparation process of predominantly Ore Samples.

Some of your tasks will be:

• Sorting, weighing, crushing and milling
• Robotics operation

About You

• Reliable and ability to work a shift roster
• Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags of Rocks, Sand or Core
• Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail
• Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety

Shift work roster available: 

• Rotational roster - 4 day shifts, 4 night shifts, 4 off

 Please note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.
