Labourer Plant Operator

Who and what are we looking for?

Gemlife Civil division are presently looking for an experienced Digger Labourer Operator for our Gold Coast project. Initially a casual role but could be permanent in the future if you are a committed and hardworking team players.

If you have previous experience in the civil construction industry, enjoy the combination of labouring and operating well maintained equipment – we need to talk. 

We are seeking a skilled operator who is experienced and holds the relevant licenses. You are also happy to jump off the plant and be a labourer when required.

You are a team player, who enjoys being part of a great crew, working in the Civil Construction team. You are a person who enjoys the mix of plant operating and labouring. You are fit and physically strong and want to get the work done in a really good cultural environment. The following plant are what's required in order of preference, Digger being the most sought after!

• Digger
• Loader
• Water cart
• Roller
• Tipper
• Skidsteer/Pozi
• Experience with GPS

You have experience in labouring and your tickets/licences for the above plant.

About You

• Previous experience as a labourer operator within Civil Construction
• Be licenced and able to operate one or more of the above equipment.
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team.
• Strong safety initiative 
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role.
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
