Amentum is offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a labourer to join our maintenance team. We seek a dedicated and reliable individual experienced in both construction and landscaping work. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform diverse physical tasks across various environments.
As a general labourer, you will work on minor construction sites, operating hand and power tools, digging trenches, backfilling holes, compacting or removing earth, and handling concrete mixing and spreading. Additionally, you will support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. In landscaping, responsibilities include lawn care tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and weed management.
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, with day-to-day activities overseen by the maintenance leadership team. You will assist in a range of maintenance tasks at residential properties and unit complexes in Alice Springs.
