Kick start your career with Community Solutions and gain a Cert III in Fire Protection Control with our host business specialising in fire door installation, certification & Training and servicing of all fire equipment. This 4-year junior apprenticeship based in Townsville will provide a solid foundation to work alongside a team of qualified trade technicians who will support and guide the successful candidate to complete their trade. If you have a genuine desire to work within the Fire Industry (electrical sub industry), this is the apprenticeship for you!

This qualification provides competencies to select, install, setup, test, fault find, repair, and maintain fire protection systems in multiple, commercial, and industrial premises.

Requirements:

• Must have an avid interest in fire protection


• Strong communication skills


• Construction White Card (or willing to obtain)


• Certificate II in Electrotechnology highly regarded


• Driver’s license


• LVR & CPR (or willing to obtain)


• Ability to provide two work or school related references


• Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
