Job Responisiblities

Reporting to the Lead IT Systems Analyst, the IS technician will provide support to both our shore base offices in Perth and Singapore and the offshore drilling rigs in the APAC region. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and grow your IT career. In this varied role your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to internal users in APAC region both onshore and offshore
  • Setup and configure end user computers including installing software, performing updates and align user computers to the Active Directory Domain
  • Perform basic LAN/WAN configuration & IT network support
  • New employee IT set up including but not limited to setting up monitors, laptops/desktops, printers, and phones
  • Perform office moves of IT equipment for end users
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows issues for end users, including but not limited to, issues relating to printing, software application and browsing
  • Create and enable/disable end user accounts on Active Directory domain
  • Perform periodic IT communication room clean up and general organisation of IT equipment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to IT as assigned

 









Qualifications:






Basic

  • A qualification in IT
  • Minimum two years IT support experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to resolve Windows 10/ Microsoft Office 365, and other end user software or applications.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Directory Services and Exchange mail, print and file server  management.
  • Experience in providing phone/email IT support to end users
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Basic level of organisational and planning skills is desirable
  • Microsoft certification desirable
