Our Opportunity

Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Engineering are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter who will work on a variety of projects, including producing one-off production components. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Prestons NSW. 

 Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, using air-powered sandblasting equipment.
• Apply base coats, and topcoats as required. 
• Identify improvements and complete a Non-Conformance Report if/when required.
• Operate overhead cranes.
• Maintain paint equipment.

 The Right Person

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

• Experience in industrial spray painting of structural steel products.
• Demonstrated experience with Airless spraying and a variety of coating types.
• Demonstrated experience with various hand and power tools.
• Rights to work in Australia.
• Organisational and time management skills
• Experience in paint QA inspections and record keeping.
