Industrial Electrician

DP World is looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Maintenance team at Fisherman Islands Terminal. This is a role with strong earning potential through additional hours and penalty-rate shifts.

You’ll work on large-scale terminal equipment in a safety-first, well-resourced industrial environment, supported by an experienced team and modern systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on terminal equipment
• Planned and reactive maintenance to engineering standards
• Breakdown response to minimise operational downtime
• Use of CMMS for job cards and parts management
• Ensure all equipment is tested and safe before return to service
• Relief Leading Hand / Shift Supervisor duties when required

About You

• QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in heavy industrial or fixed plant environments
• Confident with fault finding, diagnostics, and electrical drawings
• Experience with Siemens / Omron PLCs and AC drives (highly regarded)
• Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented
• Flexible to work day/night shifts and weekends
• Hold or be eligible for an MSIC
