The Position: 

As a Refrigeration Technician you will be responsible for the install and repairs of industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

• Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive and Corrective Maintenance
• Ensuring continuity of essential building and engineering services across Defense facilities
• Conducting maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, fault finding, repairs, and planned works
• Working collaboratively with staff and subcontractors to meet operational and client delivery requirements
• Actively participating in driving regular and sustainable improvement in safety performance

The Person:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Trade qualification relevant to state
• Full C Class Driver's License, White Card and a current NT Electrical License 
• Unrestricted Arctick License 
• Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and a part of a small team
• Flexible approach, reliable, physically fit with a great work ethic 
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
