The Role

We are seeking experienced High Voltage (HV) Electricians to join a major solar farm project in South West Queensland, supporting commissioning, operations, and maintenance activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, playing a key role in delivering clean energy solutions. You'll be part of a skilled team working in a dynamic site-based environment with consistent hours and overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HV and LV electrical works across solar farm infrastructure
• Support commissioning activities, including testing, energisation, and fault finding
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Work on substations, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and associated assets
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and site procedures
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment

About You

Essential

• Current Electrical Licence (QLD or transferable)
• High Voltage switching and operational experience
• Experience in solar, renewables, utilities, or heavy industry
  
• Strong understanding of commissioning and/or maintenance processes
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Highly regarded:

• HV Switching Ticket
• CPR/LVR & First Aid certification
• Experience on large-scale solar farm projects
• Construction White Card
