Dawson Mine
Our Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mine and is showing no signs of slowing down! Dawson’s mining process is completed by varied fleets of which this role focuses on the biggest; Draglines, Electric Rope Shovels, 600t & 260t Hydraulic Excavators fleets and diesel Overburden Drill fleet.
It’s not just the interesting large pieces of equipment that you would be working on, it’s also the placement of Dawson, it is located at the southern end of the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, being just over a 2hrs drive west from either Rockhampton or Gladstone, or 4.5hrs drive north of the Darling Downs or South Burnett.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified HV Electrician to permanently join our Southern Workshop department at Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute as a member of the HME Workshop Maintenance team ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of mining equipment is optimised and the electrical maintenance plan is achieved to enable production targets to be met in compliance with statutory, safety, health, budget, and environmental requirements.
