HME / Ancil / Diesel Fitters

About the role 

We are seeking experienced HME / Ancil / Diesel Fitters to join our Bowen Basin projects at Olive Downs Complex and Lake Vermont.

As a Fitter, you will be required to:

• Maintain, repair and service on a variety of mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently in line with Thiess and Industry standards
• Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills

About you 

• Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualification
• Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic
• Proven experience in a similar role in mining, heavy industry or construction
• Commitment to a positive safety culture
• Current Drivers Licence 
• Current Standard 11 desirable

Roster & Conditions – Olive Downs Complex (Moranbah)

• 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
• 12-hour day & night shift
• BIBO from Mackay

Roster & Conditions – Lake Vermont (Dysart)

• 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
• 12.5-hour day & night shift
• BIBO from Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Townsville & Bundaberg.
