PHE High Voltage is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for an experienced and driven High Voltage Electrician to become a vital part of our team. This is a full-time, permanent role with endless opportunities to grow and work on exciting projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage electrical equipment and systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in high voltage systems and components. 
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent system failures. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement high voltage system upgrades and modifications. 
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards for high voltage work. 
  • Document all work performed, including Inspection Test Plans and Reports.
  • Mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong understanding of high voltage safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • QLD Electrical License.
  • HV Switching Certificate
  • Current CPR/LVR certification (within the last 9 months).
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License.
  • White/Blue Construction Card.
