Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Afternoon Shift

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in our growth journey. Whether you thrive in a workshop environment or prefer the challenges of fieldwork, we have positions that cater to your expertise. We value our team members and provide a supportive environment where your skills are recognized and rewarded. This role is for our afternoon shift, starting at 3 PM - midnight (Monday to Friday).

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and other equipment.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.


• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.


• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure efficient and effective repairs.

Requirements:

• Certification in heavy or light vehicle fields.


• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the industry.


• Proven experience with heavy vehicles.


• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.


• Flexibility to work either AM or PM shifts, both of which are available.

Australian citizen or permanent resident$45 - $50 per hour + shift loading + super + QHS
