Job Description
Heavy Diesel Mechanic | Molendinar, Gold Coast QLD | $51.35 per hour + Pens | Permanent Full-time
🛠️ Opportunity: Take your mechanical skills into the field, working on heavy plant and compaction equipment. A mix of scheduled servicing, breakdowns and fault-finding across diesel, electrical and hydraulic systems at customer sites.
🎓 Experience: Heavy Diesel trade qualification essential. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics are important. Experience with rollers, asphalt, civil, earthmoving or compaction equipment highly regarded.
💰 Benefits: $51.35/hr + pens | $25.85 weekly tool allowance | $66.20 daily on-call allowance when applicable | $19.86 lunch allowance | $39.72 overnight meal allowance | Overtime available.
📜 Extras: Permanent full-time position | Field service work | 12–13 hour days | Travel to various customer sites | On-call requirements where applicable.
