Handyperson/Painter

Situated in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, with views out over the river to Southbank, the ibis Styles Brisbane is a modern, stylish hotel catering for both business and leisure guests. With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are bright, colourful, stylish and we are looking for our next Part-Time Handyperson/Painter to join our maintenance team. 

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this part time role will assist the team in the day to day maintenance of the hotel, with a primary focus on painting maintenance. 

The role is allocated for 3 full days per week (flexible with the chosen days) and will include the following job tasks:

• Painting maintenance
• Mark/Graffiti Removal
• Patching and full repainting of walls
• Daily plant rounds
• Maintenance on mechanical equipment and water reticulation
• Public Areas maintenance

Previous handyperson experience is essential. This job can require heavy lifting and manual labour so a high level of strength and fitness is required. You will bring the ability to focus on finding a solution to every problem and a desire to provide exceptional guest service.
