Brisbane's Leading Independent Hotel, Royal on the Park, is looking for a Handyperson who loves to fix things! The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience, hand and power tool skills and knowledge of basic repairs. Additionally, any plumbing experience would be highly regarded.

This role is very hands-on and reports to the hotel Maintenance Manager, covering 5 days a week. The ideal person will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance work in the hotel and maintaining property standards for guests. 

The suitable person will have a keen eye for detail, have outstanding communication skills, like a fast pace and have full availability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with all daily scheduled tasks and repairs 
• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager and hotel departments regarding job completion
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly
• Adhere to all Hotel Workplace Health & Safety policies 
• Perform repair work and maintenance on guest rooms, public areas and equipment. Tuesday to Saturday
• Ensure maintenance activities are recorded correctly.
