Tasks and Qualifications:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate/ Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will be working with and learning from a team of highly experienced and talented engineers, and providing support to them at all phases of the project lifecycle.

As a Graduate/Mechanical Engineer at Dematic, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Generate a variety of drawings including system layouts, installation plans and product fabrication drawings with consideration to safe operation, the environment and product/system sustainability

  • Prepare specifications for purchased goods and services

  • Prepare internal (factory) orders

  • Assist with any internal or on-site testing

  • Assist lead engineers in the delivery of projects

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:

  • Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • Strong mechanical design capability

  • Experience with AutoCAD designer would be an advantage

  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
