We have a team of over 300 staff across 19 locations throughout Australia and are committed to large format expansion.

We currently have limited opportunities to offer both full-time and school-based apprenticeships in Engineering & Fabrication at our manufacturing facility in Crestmead. We encourage applicants of junior and mature age, and those at entry level to mid skill.

Apprentices have the opportunity to work in a system focused environment and receive hands-on experience in working with a variety of machinery and equipment within an industry leading Manufacturing environment.

What you will bring to us:

• Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship
• Enjoy undertaking hands on activities
• Able to perform basic calculations
• Mechanical aptitude
• Safety awareness
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Reliable and self-motivated and a willingness to learn
• Excellent organisation and time management skills

Your duties will include:

• General welding duties including fabrication, grinding, cutting, welding (steel & aluminium) and cleaning of steel as required, as well as learning CNC and plasma machinery
• Ability to read and comprehend welding symbols
• Understanding of Weld procedures
• Perform work in various manufacturing departments including CNC and plasma
• Attend vocational training; complete theory-based assessments and demonstrate skills through competency-based assessments to the best of your ability
• Complete all apprenticeship related paperwork as directed in a timely manner
