Formwork Carpenters

We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters for a major high-rise apartment development located South of the River.

This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale commercial build, working with a highly regarded contractor known for delivering quality projects and maintaining a strong site culture.

About the role Working on a large multi-storey apartment development, you will be responsible for delivering structural formwork across key stages of the build.
Your duties will include:

• Constructing and installing formwork for concrete walls, columns and suspended slabs
• Building and stripping formwork systems to specification
• Forming and setting out stair structures and structural components
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Working closely with steel fixers, concreters and site supervisors
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site

To be successful, you will have

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter on commercial projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong experience with walls, columns, stairs and suspended slabs
• Current White Card
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
